Deep Lake Water Cooling Seminar and Tour by Clarence Gomes, CPM Published: September 2000 On Wednesday, June 21st, 2000 the Real Estate Institute of Canada, Toronto Chapter, along with EnWave, held a Seminar and Tour. This was attended by over 30 of our members, mostly CPM's and guests.
PM Springfest 2000 by Charlene Waters, CPM Published: September 2000 A sellout crowd attended the very informative seminar held at PM Springfest 2000 on Friday, March 31, 2000. The topics presented were understanding subordination, attornment, registration and non-disturbance agreements together with catching lease legal loopholes.
Salvation Army Annual Luncheon by Staff Published: September 2000 The Sheraton Hotel in downtown Toronto was the venue for the Salvation Army annual Luncheon on Friday, April 14th, 2000. Joining the hundreds of attendees were the Members of the Board of Directors of the Toronto Chapter. As part of the Toronto Chapter's commitment to local community service, members of the Board sit on the Salvation Army's Community Relations & Development Services Planned Giving Advisory Group as advisors in real estate and property management.
Health Hazards in the Home by Alice Costantino, FRI Published: September 2000 The Toronto Chapter presented this seminar on May 8th, 2000 at the Toronto Lawn Tennis club.Our speakers were Kim OÕNeill, M.Sc., C.Chem. and Michael Hoffbauer, B.Sc. from LEX Scientific Inc.
E-Commerce and the New Electronic Business of Real Estate by Staff Published: September 2000 On Tuesday, March 21st, 2000, just prior to the Toronto Chapter's Annual General Meeting, The Toronto Lawn Tennis Club was the locale for the most up-to-date seminars on the new E-Commerce and the latest changes to doing business in Real Estate by computer for brokers, salespersons, vendors and purchasers.
The New Wave is Here and it's by Staff Published: September 2000 Since the very first CRP Symposium last October, REIC's newest designation has really taken off. Several CRP and CRP(E) Symposiums and courses have been held throughout Ontario, especially in the Greater Toronto Area over the past few months. All of this educational activity finally culminated in more than fifty (50) new Certified Reserve Planners receiving their designation at the first Certified Reserve Planners Installation Dinner, held at the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club on June 8, 2000.
